Ilsinea's change of vision Empty

Part one

Ilsinea opened her eyes. Her bedroom was revealed to her and the daylight blinded her eyes. She quickly stood out of her bed to close her red curtains to get used a bit to the daylight. When she looked around her room the rest of her room was revealed showing typical blood elven architecture and colours. She sat down on a chair in front of her mirror and started to prepare herself for the day. She always liked the Sundays, not much work to do only in the evening a council meeting. Once she was done with cleaning herself up and dressing she headed for her office to do the last preparations for tonight's meeting. It was only a small walk to the council hall with the offices. She looked up at the large building, covered in red and golden colours. The council hall showed the trademark after looking down. Two big openings with no doors and enough space for a siege engine to pass through. Only thing keeping the open air and the hall apart were blue curtains. Once upon entering she greeted the other councilors and made her way to her office. Her office also revealed the typical Sin'Dorei traits. She sat down behind her marble desk and starting with her new pile of paper.

After small amount time at her work she heard a knock. "Come in." she replied on the knock. A messenger came in, he quickly bowed and starting to inform her about the news. "We have news from Deatholme, it seems two prisoners broke out few days ago " the messenger replied. "What!? Why do we only know this now!?" "Errr..." the messenger was unable to reply. Ilsinea sighed and said: "Leave my room please...". The messenger nodded and bowed before leaving her room. She had pondered about Silvermoon for a long time, a lot things going wrong, delivered to late or similar things. Corruption is a daily part of Silvermoon these days. Before she had time to continue her thoughts another knock was heard. "Come in." she said again. This time another elf entered, but not like the first one. At first glance he looked like a tradesmen. "Greetings mi'lady. I'll go straight to the point why I'm here." he said. Ilsinea, a bit overwhelmed by the elf said: "Continue.". "I've been a town for a few days now and your name dropped around, it was very familiar to me. After thinking a small while I finally knew why you sounded familiar. I've worked with your parents when we elves were defending the Ruins of Dalaran from the scourge after the third war, they were nice people to talk too. I... thought you were dead too..." Ilsinea's eyes widened when she heard the word "dead". "They're dead!?" she asked. "Pardon me mi'lady, I thought you'd knew... They were murdered by humans after their betrayal." and he placed down the family ring of her father. Ilsinea never stopped hoping that her parents might still be alive somewhere. "Please tell me my brother still lives..." she asked. "Sorry mi'lady, I didn't knew you had a brother so I don't know anything about it." Ilsinea sighed. "Thanks for telling me this, what is your name?". "Ayodan Sunleaf" Ayodan replied. Ilsinea nodded at Ayodan and asked him to leave. Few seconds after he had closed the dear Ilsinea landed with her hand on her desk, crying. She had now lost everyone she knew from the old days. Her brother left them long time ago when she was little, her friends in Dalaran including her love during the destruction of Dalaran. And now her parents too. She tilted her head and looked at the ring. She grabbed it showing a golden ring with a logo on top. A leaf of fire. Around the logo was the typical Quel'Dorei architecture visible, it was coloured blue.

She took the rest of the day off, this was much news to bear. Once she arrived home she quickly fixed her hair after it being ruined moments earlier and took a seat before her window. And just stared outside over the city. She sat there for hours, thinking about recent events and today's events. During the hours she played with the family ring and kept on pondering. After looking at her pocket watch she realised she had forty-five minutes left for the Silvermoon Council meeting, she quickly left her home and headed for the council hall. After all, it was her duty nonetheless as a councilor. She quickly went through a small alley to take a shortcut. Suddenly a shade jumped down from above, the dagger aimed for her throat. The dagger hit her armour, and it pierced a bit through her skin. Ilsinea was totally taken by suprise and fell to the ground by the force of her attacker. She quickly casted an arcane spell to push everything around her away, including her attacker. Her attacker failed to manage to take his dagger with him and hit a wall. Ilsinea pulled the dagger out of her neck thanking for her armour was able to stop the dagger although she noticed she was bleeding. She quickly focused again to find her blown-away attacker. He was just crawling up and Ilsinea fired an arcane bolt towards the attacker, the attacker avoided the bolt with a lot of agility. During the jump the cap of her attacker fell behind his head because of the sudden jump revealing his face. A human face. The human quickly realised his identity is blown and could now only truely escape by killing his target. He ran towards Ilsinea, dodging her bolts of arcane. Just when he was about to strike he fell over and crashed into the ground, looking at this feet. They were frozen to the ground. She quickly froze his hands also to the ground causing the attacker unable to move. When she was to interrogate him she saw he was dead, a green liquid drooled from his mouth indicating he managed to poison himself first before she froze his hands to the ground. She quickly reported this to the guards and made her way to the council hall. Once there she cleaned herself up and bandaged her wound at her neck. Can this day get any worse?

Part 2: The Silvermoon Council meeting

Thirty minutes left before the council begins she thought. She touched her neck and quickly pulled her hand away. Although she cleaned the wound good, some poison gotten through causing more pain than a usual wound does. She quickly turned her thoughts to the upcoming council meeting. She tired of always playing the "good" countess, trying to achieve everything on a most peaceful way. Trying to make a good reputation by everyone. For a while she started noticing this isn't working. Corruption went on, hardly being take seriously and getting blamed for shoving bad examples on other council members. "No more." she whispered. She made her way to the council room. Twenty minutes before it started she walked in. "Still empty" she thought. Her eyes quickly caught the bookcase and walked towards it. " A few bookcases stand here with random books but no one really reads them" she thought. Ilsinea goes over the titles with her eyes. "Greetings Magistrix" she heard behind her. The first guests had entered the room to witness the meeting. She greeted politely back. Looking at her pocket watch she sees fifteen minutes left. "As usual all they enter on the last possible time" she said, to no one particularly. A few raised their eyebrow but were quickly changed of thought as more guests entered the room. Just a few minutes before time Lord Sunwing entered the room, greeting everyone politely like he always does. But also showing his elderly respect he always did, a true noble. After him walked Sunblade. Sunwing was trying to incorporate him into the council. Seni'thas and Ilsinea protested against it. A Vile Thorn in the council, the idea was abhorrent to Ilsinea. After some persuasion Magyk convinced Ilsinea to give him a trial making the vote to let Arli in the council two to one.

A few minutes after the meeting started Lord Dawnchaser entered the room. "You're late" Ilsinea snarled at him. Obviously annoyed at him coming late. "Pardon me milady, it's just a minute or two." Ilsinea ignored his comment and continued what was on her mind. She started abruptly: "Today I heard news about Deatholme, it seems to prisoners escaped their prison a few days ago. I'm astonished it took them two days to deliver this message to Silvermoon and even to me because I was the only one at the office. It's just more proof of the ongoing corruption in Silvermoon and Quel'Thalas.". She looked at the councilors and the crowd. They were obviously overwhelmed by her tone and the news. "Who escaped?" an elf said from the crowd. "Vivex and Eeve did, they were helped by a Sin'Dorei shadowpriestess and an undead, proberly more or less Forsaken. Just another cause of the ongoing corruption here. Just like mister Sunblade wanting to join the council here, a thug entering the council that should be ruling Quel'thalas and get rid from the corruption." she striked at Sunblade. "I'm no common thug mi'lady" Arli said to defend himself. Ilsinea quickly interrupted him. "Also, today I was attacked by a human assassin. A human got through here undetected ready to kill him, if I did not wear my armour tonight I would have been dead! And another coincidence is this just happened after I had heard that my parents were killed by humans during their betrayal from a tradesman, he gave me my family signet ring to prove his point. He had heard of my name in the town and decided to gave me a visit to return my ring. I don't know if the humans intended this to avoid some kind of conflict or whatever the reason was. This can't be tolerated in our city or kingdom.". She said, with the last few words she took a small pause before each word to give a bigger impression.". Quickly afterwards chaos erupted in the council room. Ilsinea's accusations caused a lot of tension, some were defending her, some stayed neutral and some opposed her. Some calling her to emotional because of her parents news. Especially one elf, a Death Knight named Elstrazil. He constantly interrupted her with his remarks. He called her provocative and prejudiced. Ilsinea's rage is just building up in her from all the events of today and the other annoyances she had for a long time, along with this elf. She calmed herself and asked him to leave on a not so pleasant tone. "I'll make my leave then, miss "Fireleaf"." with a nasty tone when saying her name. And started to cast a deathgate to Archerus. Ilsinea's rage builded up again, all that anger inside of her all these months. She exploded, her hands charged with arcane energy fireing upon Elstrazil. Elstrazil entered the gate in the nick of time and the arcane bolt crashed into the wall. Sparkles of energy flew around the room with a flash of light. The wall crumbled of the impact causing cracks in all directions. Some small pieces of stone fell to the ground. A moment of silence was created in the room. Everything standing in awe and shock of the event. Suddenly Magyk yelled: " Leave this instance Fireleaf!". Ilsinea only responded with: "I'm done here." and stormed out of the hall. She mounted up and left the city.

She made her way to the beach and sat down before the setting sun and watched. Sadly for her was this only a small moment of peace before a pack of murlocs who terrorized the shores of western Quel'thalas approached her looking for a kill. Whether it was a territorial reaction or they just wanted to see blood is unknown. Moments later she was surrounded by smoldering bodies of dead murlocs and continued to watch the sunset. She thought of what happened, what she had done and what would happen to her. "I don't care anymore, finally rid of this stress. No no... Silvermoon needs me, I don't want to fail my people. I need to do something." she thought. She continued her thought by thinking her time in Dalaran, she had spend over a hundred years there and bewildered from her own kin ever since. She felt some kind of guilt she wasn't there when Quel'thalas needed her the most. And so one she continued her thoughts, just wondering. After a while she was visited by two elves, Magyk and Seni'thas. They gave a small look to the smoldering bodies of murlocs before hey confronted her with her actions and said this won't be forgotten easily. Ilsinea responded careless. They threatened that she may be removed from the council because of this. "It's Silvermoon's demise... It isn't worse what some did who are in the council, like Arli or even you Magyk. You lost your soul during one of your wacky experiments. That is something far worse then what I've done. " she replied. Magyk did not reply to this. Seni'thas took the word to ease her and told her off the meeting after they continued from Ilsinea's rage. Kalcifer had been put on a trial in the council. Just another add to Ilsinea's anger, apparently also Magyk's. "Like she has a chance, not with me around." he said. Kalcifer had freed Illisara from her prison, a mass murderer and now is giving a trial for the Silvermoon Council. Ilsinea just sighed. Their talk continued for a small while and the three went their seperate ways.
