"You can't be serious," Marianna replied, finally taking note of him, "We have a war to win here."
"This is not war, this is slaughter. Our numbers are too short."
"You know damn well that our men don't need numbers. We have skill and that is all we need."
"You're blind and you're wrong. There are some things that you cannot do while being outnumbered. Do we have the numbers to hold onto Arathi? Do we have the numbers to hold the Twin Peaks? Do we have the numbers to drive the Warsong out of the Gulch?"

I'll not leave good soldiers, whatever race they are, on the battlefield to die. Look...stare at the roster. We don't have enough firepower, we lack enough healers. There are some things military strategy cannot win."

"You seem to forget that you have been locked behind a wall for far too long. While we fought amongst ourselves, the Alliance was out there, fighting the same monsters that would invade us. If it weren't for victories in Warsong, the Night Elves may have been wiped out, if not for victories by the humans of Arathi, the Forsaken may have had an army twice the size to take Gilneas. This isn't a war I will surrender. This is a war I intend to win. By any means."
"Then who will you call to?"
"I'm not. I want everyone to know how serious we are about this. I want you to swallow your pride and do it yourself." he finished, before leaping backwards into the forest.

So, about two months ago Sanctuary of Dreams started to do RBGs on a regular basis. Despite some early successes, we have slowly had numbers drop off, leaving us with about 5/6 signups each day.
We run them on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting at 20:30 game time and continue until someone wants to leave (that we can't replace). When I started organizing these I made it very clear to everyone that I don't insist on 3 hours or nothing. If you can only stay for one BG, that is fine. If your house begins to burn down, that is fine. No one forces you to stay. And as much as the normal BG leader hates it, staying tentative is fine (as long as you actually change your note on the day.)
Now, what do we insist on.
PvP Spec. PvP Gear with a reasonably amount of resilience, you don't need full epic pvp gear, but every little helps. We've had a few people come with 1.5k before so if you want a benchmark, go for it. PvP Glyphs, of course go with the spec.
We also require ventrillo because we sort most of...well...everything over that.
For pretty much everyone apart from our BG leader, it aims to be a relaxing evening suited to however long you want to stay for. If you have any questions you want to ask, or even better, fancy getting some signups to appear in your calendar, just poke me in game and I will be happy to oblige.
