Stopping by the door the figure looked around quickly before entering the Lamb.
The gold in her hand was replaced by something stronger.
Watching the sinister figure carefully she took a sip from the jug.
His eyes were hidden, not a good sign in a place like this.
"You wanted to meet with me?"
"I want into the Dead Rose."
She paused while his hooded eyes looked her over.
"What do you have to offer us?"
Making him wait she took a deep pull from the jug.
"I take life as easily as I give it."
His eyes were just visible beneath his hood now.
"You will have cause to prove those words to me."
Taking a tabard out his bag the Leader of the Roses pushed into her hand.
"Welcome to your order."
With a final caution he was gone, leaving her alone with her jug and his words.
Finished with her jug she turned to leave and saw he was back, motionless near the open door.
"There is another to see tonight."
Without a word she took a seat opposite him as the young girl entered the Lamb.
His face still hidden he quizzed the young girl relentlessly.
The tabard changes hands and she is told to leave.
He follows shortly after, leaving the woman alone at the table.
Silently she steps out the door and bumps a hidden druid.
He spits on her shouting abuse, anger brings the shadows thick around the woman.
Later a figure walks down into the city, slowly getting lost to sight, a splash of blood all that is left behind her.
