The Return of Theatre Recruitment

The Theatre of Blood has been relatively out of action for the past two years, playing a small role in RP during that time. It has been decided, with the return of some old officers that the guild will start recruitment once more. The Theatre has always been a well respected, if albeit misunderstood, guild in The Venture Co.'s RP community. The Theatre started out as an Alliance-Sanctioned Assassins guild, in recent years the seeds of distrust have been sown between the Theatre and Alliance governments that once handed it many of it's contracts. With the arm of the law no longer on the Theatre's side, we work to rebuild the (IC) reputation of the guild as an order devoted to the protection of the innocent.

If you apply to the Theatre, and are accepted you will be trained in subterfuge, combat, and in the philosophy of the Theatre's code. You will be given the choice, from then, to progress down either the Path of Blood, or the Path of the Theatre - to progress as an Assassin or Spy, respectively. From there you will be assigned your contracts, and exchange information through coded messages. You will be granted access to the Theatre's resources; money, equipment, hoards of information, safehouses and so on. Life in the Theatre is a life bound by the code, a life bound to your Theatre brothers and sisters. Success is celebrated and awarded, Failure is not an option.

Current RP Status

With the execution of the traitor Skaraa Mikolaas at the hands of the Alliance Government, Alliance officials have spent the past two weeks pouring over evidence to decide the fate of the Theatre of Blood. With the evidence at hand it has been decided that the Theatre of Bloods members will no longer be hunted for crimes committed by a select few Assassins working under the orders of a corrupted hierarchy. Instead an Alliance Government Overseer will be assigned to watch over the Theatre and its actions for the foreseeable future. With the dawning of a new chapter in the Theatres history, once again an Alliance Organisation, the hierarchy of the Theatre has been reworked. Master Tharnenheim has stepped down and takes on the mantle of Director of the Theatre, in his place Arbiter Naroma is to take the role at the head of the Theatre of Blood; Master Assassin. Eyri Seragon, son of the Theatre of Bloods founder, with his current work organising assassinations is the favourite to take on the mantle of Arbiter of Blood.

Current Event Storylines

The Theatre now turns its attention to the Horde, working in the background for the betterment of the growing rebellion against Garrosh Hellscream and his Kor’kron. It is through this work that the Theatre hopes to see the rebellion erupt into a full-scale civil war, greatly to the advantage of the Alliance war effort. The Theatre is running several lines of inquiry through its spies in the form of both organised events and random RP, meanwhile the Theatres Assassins are working around the clock; scouting out targets of interest and assassinating those members of the Kor’kron that pose a risk to the future of the rebellion. In addition to these are the weekly RP meetings at the Guild Headquarters.
